A History of Excellence
Since 1972, Mount Providence has been a leading child care center in the Baltimore area, serving thousands of children in the community. Owned and operated by the Oblate Sisters of Providence, the MPCDC serves children from six weeks to five years old. Through a variety of activities (leaving plenty of time for play!), we provide the highest quality of support in all areas: spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally.

Sister Brenda Cherry, OSP has led Mount Providence for eighteen years. As both Director and Kindergarten teacher, Sister Brenda has let her love of children and of God be her guiding light in life.
